It used the MS Romantika chartered by Tallink Silja Line, which offered space for 1,500 passengers and numerous vehicles. - From the south (via the A7): Take the A7 in the direction of Groningen. Follow the A7 until exit 48-Laagkeppel. Take the N33 and N46 to the ferry port of Eemshaven.
- From the west (via the A28): Use the A28 to Groningen and then change to the N46 towards Eemshaven. Follow the N46 to the ferry port.
- From the east (via the B210 and A31 in Germany): Take the B210 towards Emden, then change to the A31 towards the Netherlands. Cross the border and follow the N33 and N46 to the ferry port of Eemshaven.
Arrival by bus & train
- If you are traveling by train, travel to Groningen station. From there, there are bus connections to the ferry port of Eemshaven.

Travel by car to Color Line & Fjord Line Terminal Kristiansand
- From Oslo: Drive south on the E18 to Kristiansand. Follow the signs to the ferry port, which is located in the city center.
- From Stavanger: Take the E39 east to Kristiansand and then follow the signs to the ferry port.
- From Bergen: Take the E39 southbound, change to the E18 eastbound in Mandal and follow the signs to the ferry port in Kristiansand.
