If you are traveling from Berlin, first follow the A24 freeway and then the A19 freeway to the Rostock-Überseehafen exit. From there, follow the signs to the ferry port and the individual gates of Scandlines, Stena Line and TT-Line.
If you are traveling from Hamburg, first follow the A20 freeway to junction 16 Kreuz Rostock. From there, ferry onto the A19 highway in the direction of Rostock Ost/Rostock-Überseehafen. Then follow the A19 to the Rostock-Überseehafen exit. From there, follow the signs to the ferry port and the individual gates of Scandlines, Stena Line and TT-Line.
Arrival by public transport (bus & streetcar)
You can also easily reach the Rostock ferry port by bus and streetcar from Rostock main station or other stops in Rostock. Starting from Rostock main station, you can take streetcar line 4 to Dierkower Kreuz. There you change to bus number 19, which takes you directly to Rostock ferry port. If you are starting your journey from the northwest of Rostock, you can also take bus line 45, which runs through the Warnow Tunnel and also stops directly at the Rostock Ferry Center.

Cabins, lounge chairs, pet areas, and charging stations may also be fully booked. If you need to catch a specific departure, you should therefore reserve your ticket in advance. Booking at the port or through customer service may also incur additional fees.

Charging stations for electric cars are available on TT-Line’s Green Ships, the “Nils Holgersson” and the “Peter Pan.” Battery charging must be added during the booking process and is subject to availability. It is therefore important to check which ship is scheduled for your departure before booking.
If no charging station is available for booking, you should charge your electric car sufficiently before departure and plan to use a charging station for the rest of your trip from Trelleborg onward. It is possible to transport an electric car even without using a charging station.
Is there a power outlet for my RV?
On TT-Line, you can book an electrical hookup for RVs and suitable campers on the “Nils Holgersson” and “Peter Pan” Ferries. The number of spaces is limited. You may only use the cables provided on board and must follow the crew’s instructions.
Having access to a power outlet does not mean you are allowed to stay in your RV during the crossing. Once the ship sets sail, the vehicle decks remain closed. Therefore, be sure to bring all necessary documents, medications, clothing, and personal items with you to the passenger area.

What documents does my dog need to enter Sweden?
To enter Sweden, your dog must be uniquely identified with a microchip, have a valid EU pet passport, and be up to date on its rabies vaccination. Yes, that is not a problem. Dogs and smaller pets such as cats travel as normal with both shipping companies . You can take your dog on deck with you during the crossing. There are even pet cabins that you can book for the crossings. Please note that dogs must be kept on a lead or brought into the passenger area in cages.
