The TT-Line shipping company
The shipping company TT-Line was founded in 1962 and is based in Lübeck-Travemünde. In the same year, the ferry service between Travemünde and Trelleborg in southern Sweden was launched. The company name was derived from the first letters of these two ports. There are currently seven ships in operation for the shipping company. With up to 900,000 passengers per year, the shipping company is considered the market leader in ferry traffic between Germany and Sweden.

You can expect freshly prepared meals, comfortable cabins and an entertaining range of leisure activities. Children up to the age of six feel particularly at home in the Kids Corner, where free children’s entertainment is on the program during the summer months – including treasure hunts and knight training. If you would like to book a cabin for a crossing, there are various categories to choose from. Whether outside or inside cabin, single, double or four-bed cabin, standard or panorama suite – everyone will find the right accommodation for them here. Booking a cabin is mandatory on overnight trips. Alternatively, a limited number of comfortable reclining or Pullman armchairs are also available on board. Here you can sit back in a quiet and relaxed atmosphere and start your Swedish holiday refreshed. Each Ferry of TT-Line offers people with physical disabilities courteous service and sufficient accessibility. Travellers with pets can also look forward to a carefree crossing.

Important TT-Line ferry connections
All roads lead to Trelleborg – at least this is true for the TT-Line routes. From TravemündeRostock, Świnoujście in Poland or Klaipėda in Lithuania, you can travel safely and comfortably across the Baltic Sea to Trelleborg in Sweden and back again. 18 daily departures – divided into day and night departures – give you a wide range of travel options and a great deal of flexibility. It takes Nils Holgersson, Peter Pan, Robin Hood, Nils Dacke, Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn around eight hours to cover the 220-kilometre traditional route Travemünde – Trelleborg. From Trelleborg to Klaipėda you have to reckon with 16.5 hours. Combination tickets, return trip discounts or camper packages also allow you to travel at a reasonable price.
