Port Venice

Magnificent palaces, squares, churches and houses built on wooden piles and sand – that’s Venice! Gondoliers take amazed guests to canals and bridges whose names are famous all over the world. The more than 3,000 alleys of the city and its historical highlights can be experienced particularly intensively on foot. After the Grand Canal, the Rialto Bridge, St. Mark’s Square and the Doge’s Palace, visitors should pause for a moment over a cup of cappuccino or a good glass of red wine to enjoy the surrounding beauty and “La dolce vita”. The city and lagoon have been part of the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage since 1967.
