How to reach the Trieste ferry port in Italy by car:
- From the north (e.g. Udine): Follow the A23 and A4/E70 south to Sistiana. There, change to the SS14 to Trieste and follow the signs to the port.
- From the south (e.g. Koper, Slovenia): Ferry north on the H5 to the Italian border and from there continue on the SS202 to Trieste.
- From the west (e.g. Venice): Take the A4/E70 to Sistiana. There you change to the SS14 to Trieste.
- From the east (e.g. Ljubljana): Ferry southwest on theA1/E61/E70 to Trieste.
Arrival by bus & train
The Trieste ferry port is well connected to the public transport network. From Trieste Central Station and the bus station, you can take buses that run regularly to the port.
Arrival by plane
