How to reach the Trieste ferry port in Italy by car:

  • From the north (e.g. Udine): Follow the A23 and A4/E70 south to Sistiana. There, change to the SS14 to Trieste and follow the signs to the port.
  • From the south (e.g. Koper, Slovenia): Ferry north on the H5 to the Italian border and from there continue on the SS202 to Trieste.
  • From the west (e.g. Venice): Take the A4/E70 to Sistiana. There you change to the SS14 to Trieste.
  • From the east (e.g. Ljubljana): Ferry southwest on theA1/E61/E70 to Trieste.

Arrival by bus & train
