GNV Names Four New LNG Ferries: Jupiter, Mars, Venus, and Mercury

GNV announced the names of its next four Ferries. They are called GNV Jupiter, GNV Mars, GNV Venus, and GNV Mercury. The GNV Jupiter emits until the end of 2027 to the the fleet.
The shipping company unveiled the names at the GNV Awards in Marrakesh. All four Ferries run on liquefied natural gas, or LNG for short.

GNV Jupiter: 500 cabins and 2,500 passenger berths

Guangzhou Shipyard International is building the Ferries in China. The shipping company plans for the GNV Jupiter to have 2,500 passenger seats and 500 cabins.
In addition, there are 3,500 loading meters for vehicles and cargo. Loading meters refer to the total usable length of the lanes on the vehicle decks.

Routes and the first runs remain open

GNV has not yet announced any specific routes for the new vessels. Schedules and dates for ticket sales have also not yet been announced.
The deadline at the end of 2027 initially pertains to access to the fleet. GNV has not yet specified a date for the trip.
