Venezia Lines is a Malta-registered company that has been providing seasonal ferry services between Italy, north-western Croatia and Slovenia since 2003. The company is considered a leader in the Northern Adriatic and is wholly owned by Virtu Ferries Limited, headquartered in Valletta.
Reaching your destination at high speed
The sister ships San Frangisk and San Pawl are air cushion catamarans that offer a high level of speed, comfort and safety. 280 passengers can be accommodated in the saloon tourist class, 30 in the limousine VIP class. During the crossing, various snacks and cold and hot drinks can be purchased in the bars. Passengers with limited mobility – provided they are independent – receive the greatest possible support. In case of non-independence an accompanying person is obligatory, mobility scooters cannot be transported. An internationally valid passport is required to carry pets. On its website, the shipping company provides detailed information about all applicable regulations, for example, dogs may not exceed a height of 60 centimetres.
Major Venezia Lines ferry routes
The two high-speed ferries are designed exclusively for passenger transport. They depart from Venice to Piran (Slovenia) and to Umag, Porec, Rovinj and Pula (Croatia). Crossings take place between one and seven times a week from April to October and take around two and a half to four hours.
