Società Navigazione Alta Velocità– SNAV for short – is an Italian shipping company based in Naples. It was founded in 1958 and is owned by the Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC). Its ships sail to and from Italy in the Mediterranean.

The fleet of the SNAV shipping company consists of a total of 21 ultra-modern hydrofoils, catamarans and high-speed ferries. The aim of SNAV is to provide passengers with the highest possible level of safety, comfort and service during the crossing. The ships are equipped with restaurants and cafés. On the route from Ancona to Split, you can enjoy the comfort of a modern cruise ship. Restaurants and bars cater for the physical well-being of passengers, while shopping facilities provide variety and entertainment. You can choose from comfortable seats, cabins and suites for the crossing. Pets are welcome on board, there is a leash and muzzle requirement.
Major SNAV ferry routes
There is a ferry connection from Ancona to Split (Croatia) from March to September. From Naples, the Aeolian Islands of Lipari, Stromboli and Vulcano are served from May to September. The Pontine Islands are also accessible from Naples. There are also regular ferry services to the islands of Capri, Ischia and Procida throughout the year.
