The shipping company Meine Ferries GmbH was founded in 2021. It will strengthen the ferry connection between Norddeich and Norderney with two new ferries from fall 2024. The Meine Ferries 1 is a car ferry and the Meine Ferries 2 is a passenger ferry.
Until now, the ferry service was operated solely by the Frisia shipping company.
