The shipping company Minoan Lines
The shipping company Minoan Lines has been connecting Italy and Greece with its Ferries since 1972. Its headquarters are located in Iraklio, Crete. The company’s logo is adorned with the “Prince of Lilies”, taken from a fresco in the Palace of Knossos. Today the shipping company is one of the leading companies in passenger ferry traffic in the Mediterranean. Currently, the fleet consists of seven ships, including some of the fastest and most luxurious high-speed ferries. The owner of the shipping company is the Grimaldi Group.

All offers refer exclusively to the ships Cruise Europa and Cruise Olympia. The same applies to the choice of cabin. Here you can choose between comfortable armchairs, well-equipped cabins or luxurious suites. Disabled-access cabins enable independent and barrier-free travel.
Major Minoan Lines ferry routes
The ships of the shipping company connect Italy and Greece. Seven routes cross the Adriatic and Ionian Seas, including the Venice – Igoumenitsa/Patras or Ancona – Igoumenitsa/Patras route. There is also ferry traffic on 14 routes within Greece, with the following ports of call: Piraeus (Athens), Milos, Chania, Heraklion, Santorini, Ios, Paros and Mykonos. For the passage from Venice to Patras you have to reckon with a duration of 30 hours.
