The shipping company Levante Ferries
The Greek shipping company Levante Ferries connects the mainland with the islands in the Ionian Sea on its routes. It was founded in 2014 by the residents of the island of Zakynthos. The company’s headquarters are also located there. In 2019, the fledgling fleet won the Best Shipping Company in Greece award at the Lloyd’s Shipping Awards. In 2016, the Fior di Levante was named the most beautiful ferry in the world.
Reach your destination quickly, conveniently and reliably
The shipping company operates four Ferries that offer space for up to 1,140 passengers and 350 vehicles. Bars serve guests both in the air-conditioned indoor areas and on the outdoor decks. The modern equipment of the ships includes satellite TV, video games, air conditioning and Wi-Fi. On board the Fior di Levante, a boutique invites you to stroll around, and the playroom is particularly enjoyable for the youngest passengers. It is important to note that not all Ferries have the same equipment. Escalators facilitate travel for people with reduced mobility. The Fior di Levante is also equipped with two passenger elevators. Pets are welcome on board and can be accommodated in pet-friendly boxes during the crossing.
Major Levante Ferries ferry routes
Levante Ferries offers four ferry connections all year round from the mainland ports of Kyllini and Patras to the islands of Ithaca, Kefalonia (Poros and Sami) and Zakynthos. The route from Patras to Ithaca is the longest, taking just under four hours. Crossings take place daily, the frequency varies according to the season. Thus, during the summer months, up to eight travel options are offered daily.
