The eleven ships of the Grandi Navi Veloci (GNV) shipping company sail the Mediterranean, connecting France, Italy, Morocco, Spain and Tunisia. There are also connections to Sicily and Sardinia. The entire fleet consists exclusively of ferry cruise ships, so passengers enjoy all the benefits of a cruise ship. The Ferries vary in the number of cabins. While La Suprema and La Superba each have 567 cabins, 37 suites and 4 cabins with disabled access, the Majestic has 341 cabins, 19 suites and 2 cabins with disabled access.
Deck seats & recliners
Alternatively, it is possible to book a deck seat (high season only) or one of the comfortable Pullman chairs for the crossing. All recliners are numbered and assigned to only one person for the duration of the trip. A booking includes air-conditioned rooms and access to special service and entertainment areas.
GNV inside cabin & outside cabin with sea view
The cabins on board offer space for up to 4 people. With private bathroom, shower, towels, hairdryer and air conditioning, they have the same facilities. However, cabin prices vary in terms of size and location on the ship. In contrast to the windowless inside cabin, the outside cabins offer spacious windows with a sea view. A maximum of 2 baby cribs can be booked per GNV cabin.
On request, a ladies’ berth or a men’s berth in 4-bed shared cabins (inside & outside) allows for lower prices. With appropriate proof, passengers with reduced mobility can use a berth in a cabin suitable for the disabled for the crossing.
GNV suites in various categories
Spacious suites offer an increased level of comfort, with two different categories to choose from on all ships. The honeymoon suite provides for occupancy of 2 people with a double bed, while the family suite provides for occupancy of up to 3 people with a double bed and sofa bed. All suites have elegant furnishings with large windows, air conditioning, TV, telephone and minibar.
On board La Suprema, La Superba and Rhapsody, a third category is available in the form of the Presidential Suite. It offers travelers a separate living and sleeping area, a walk-in closet, a whirlpool tub, and a private balcony with appropriate furnishings and lounge chair.
