The shipping company Fanølinjen
Fanølinjen belongs to the shipping company Molslinjen, Denmark’s largest shipping company. Molslinjen was founded in 1966 and the company is headquartered in Aarhus. The shipping company transports more than three million passengers a year between Jutland and Zealand on the state-of-the-art ferries.
Relaxed from Funen to Als
Fanølinjen operates the route from Esbjerg to Nordby with the ships MF Fenja, FM Menja and MF Sønderho.
Depending on the ship, there is space for 163 to 395 passengers on board. MF Sønderho is a passenger-only ferry. She can also be chartered for private trips to the Wadden Sea. Passengers with (walking) disabilities should note that the way from the vehicle deck to the passenger deck can only be covered via stairs, as there is no elevator on board. Stays on the vehicle deck are therefore permitted. Alternatively, there is also the possibility to reach the passenger deck directly from the quay via a ramp. Dogs are welcome on board in appropriate dog areas, but leashes are required. Other animals may be carried in appropriate transport boxes and cages.
