- From Paris (east): Ferry west on the A11 towards Le Mans, then take the A81 and finally the A84 towards Rennes. From Rennes, follow the D137 directly to Saint-Malo.
- From Nantes (south): Use the N137/E3 north towards Rennes, then continue on the N137 to Saint-Malo.
- From Brest (west): Ferry east on the N12 to Saint-Brieuc, then take the D712 and the D768 to Saint-Malo. The ferry port is then signposted.
