Check-in & departure at the Port of Miami
You used to be able to take the Ferry from the port in Miami to Bimini, one of the Bimini Islands in the Bahamas. Checking in at the port of Miami was easy. You had to be at the terminal about an hour before departure in order to have enough time for check-in and boarding. The terminal in Miami was well signposted and easy to find.
On board the Ferry
During the crossing from Miami to Bimini you could enjoy the amenities on board. The journey took about two hours. There was comfortable seating, a small on-board store and a café where you could buy drinks and snacks. The ship was modernly equipped and offered a beautiful view of the sea during the trip.
Arrival in Bimini
When we arrived in Bimini, the Ferry moored directly in the harbor. The islands greeted you with clear water and white sandy beaches. The port of Bimini was small and well laid out, so you could quickly reach your destination on the island. Arrival went smoothly and you were able to start your island adventure straight away.
