  • From the north (via State Highway 1): Ferry south on State Highway 1 to Wellington. Follow the signs to the city center and then to the ferry terminal at Waterloo Quay.
  • From the west (via State Highway 2): Ferry north on State Highway 2 and change to State Highway 1 toward Wellington city center. Follow the signs to the ferry port.

Arrival by bus & train

Wellington is well connected to the New Zealand rail network. Wellington Central Station is located in the immediate vicinity of the ferry terminal. From there you can walk or take a bus or cab to the ferry port.
