The Umag ferry port is easily accessible via various roads. The following routes are recommended:

  • From the northeast (Zagreb): Ferries on the E65 towards Karlovac. From there, continue on the E65 towards Rijeka. In Rijeka, change to the E751 to Umag. In Umag, follow the signs to the ferry port.
  • From the south(Pula): Ferry north on the E751. Take the Umag exit and follow the signs to the town. In Umag, follow the signs to the ferry port.
  • From the east (Rijeka): Ferry west on the E751 to Umag. In Umag, follow the signs to the ferry port.

Arrival by bus

Umag is well connected to the Croatian bus network. There are regular bus connections from larger cities such as Zagreb, Pula and Rijeka to Umag. The bus station is located near the city center. From there, the ferry port can be reached on foot or by cab.

Arrival by train

Umag does not have its own train station. The nearest train station is in Koper (Slovenia). From there, you can take a bus or cab to Umag. Another option is to take the train to Rijeka and from there take a bus or car to Umag.
