Port Tangier Med
The international port of Tangier Med is strategically located at the confluence of the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. After five years of construction, it was opened by the Moroccan king in 2007. It is 45 kilometres from Tangier and offers excellent transport links to the south of Morocco and to Spain, just 14 kilometres away.

Arrival by car
- From Tangier: Ferry east on the N16 which leads directly to the ferry port Tanger Med.
- From the south (e.g. Rabat): Take the N2 and then the A5 highway north to the Tanger Med ferry port.
- From the east (e.g. Tetouan): Ferry north on the national road N16 and follow the road to the ferries port Tanger Med.
Arrival by bus & train
There are regular train connections to Tangier. From Tangier, you can take a bus or cab to the Tanger Med ferry port. Check the current timetables and connections on the ONCF (Office National des Chemins de Fer du Maroc) website.
Arrival by plane
