- From the north (Villa San Giovanni): Follow the A2/E90 in a southerly direction until the Reggio Calabria Centro exit. Then follow the signs to the ferry port.
- From the south (Pelaro): Ferries north on the SS106 to Reggio Calabria. Follow the signs to the ferry port.
- From the west (e.g. Catanzaro): Use the SS106 southbound and then continue to Reggio Calabria.
