Port Olbia
Welcome to Sardinia! Olbia is a beautiful port city with medieval basilica and beautiful squares. The promenade is lined with palm trees and invites you to stroll. Travel information
Arrival by car
- From the direction of Cagliari (south): Ferry north on the SS131 to the Olbia exit. Follow the SS199 and the signs to the port of Olbia.
- From the direction of Sassari (northwest): Take the SS597 and then the SS729 towards Olbia. Follow the signs to the harbor.
- From the direction of Nuoro (west): Ferries on the SS131DCN to the Olbia exit and then follow the SS199 to the harbor.
Arrival by bus and train
- Olbia is easily accessible by bus and train. The main lines connect Olbia with Cagliari, Sassari and other cities in Sardinia.
- Olbia’s train and bus stations are not far from the port. From there, you can walk or take a local cab to the port.
Arrival by plane
- Olbia Costa Smeralda Airport (OLB): This airport is located near Olbia. From there, you can take a cab or hire a car to get to the port. There are also bus services connecting the airport with the port.
