How to reach the ferry port of Merihas on Kythnos by car:
- From the south of the island: Follow the coastal road north towards Merihas. The drive takes about 15 to 20 minutes, depending on the location.
- From the north of the island: Ferry south on the main road to Merihas. The distance is about 5 to 10 kilometers.
Arrival by bus & train
Kythnos has limited bus services connecting different parts of the island. However, there is no direct bus connection to the Merihas ferry port.
Arrival by plane
Kythnos does not have its own airport. The nearest airport is Athens Airport. From there, you can either take a bus or cab to the port of Lavrio or Piraeus and then travel to Kythnos with Ferry. Alternatively, you can also organize a helicopter charter to the port of Merihas.
