You can reach Kavala in Greece via the A2/E90 highway, which runs right through northern Greece. Follow the A2/E90 to the Kavala exit. After leaving the highway, the main road will take you directly to the town of Kavala. Follow the signs to the ferry port, which is well signposted.
Arrival by bus and train
There is an extensive bus network in Greece that will take you to Kavala. From the bus station in Kavala it is only a few minutes to the ferry port. There is no direct train connection to Kavala. The nearest train station is in Drama. From there you can take a bus to Kavala.
Arrival by plane
The nearest airport is Kavala “Alexander the Great” Airport (KVA), which is located near Chrysoupoli. There are bus connections from the airport that take you directly to Kavala. Alternatively, you can take a cab or hire a car to get to the ferry port.
