- From the east (e.g. Wilhelmshaven): Drive northwest on the B210 until you reach Esens. In Esens, follow the signs to the ferry port of Bensersiel.
- From the south (e.g. Oldenburg): Take the A29 north to Wilhelmshaven and then the B210 towards Esens and Bensersiel.
- From the southwest (e.g. Emden or Eemshaven): Take the A31 to the Leer/Aurich exit and then follow the B72 or the B210 towards Esens. In Esens you will find signs to the ferry port of Bensersiel.
Arrival by bus & train
The nearest train station is Esens, from there you can take bus no. 3 to the ferry port of Bensersiel. The buses are coordinated with the ferry times.
