Port Bastia
The picturesque harbour town of Bastia offers everything that makes a holiday on the Mediterranean. In the background the Pigno massif rises, in the harbour the yachts are moored and in the old town the old houses inspire with their beautiful architecture. After a visit to the citadel, the Place Saint-Nicolas is a wonderful place to relax under plane trees and palm trees and enjoy the Mediterranean lifestyle. The church Saint-Jean-Baptiste is considered as the landmark of Corsica that is visible from afar. A ten-kilometre-long sandy beach and a viewpoint at an altitude of 960 meters round off Bastia’s diversity.
