Scandlines Weekend Ticket – Round-trip from 93 euros

With Scandlines’ new Weekend Ticket, you can plan a weekend in Denmark at a fixed price. You’ll travel from Germany to Denmark on Friday and return on Sunday. The ticket is available for the Puttgarden–Rødby and Rostock–Gedser routes.

Prices start from 93 euros for a round-trip journey via Puttgarden–Rødby. On the Rostock–Gedser route, the weekend ticket starts from 119 euros.

The Weekend Ticket has fixed prices with no dynamic price changes. The exact price depends on the selected route and travel time.

For vehicles longer than six meters, surcharges apply in accordance with Scandlines’ current price list.

How the Weekend Ticket Works

The Weekend Ticket covers round-trip travel on a booked weekend:

• Outbound trip on Friday
• Return trip on Sunday
• Valid on the selected Scandlines route
• Bookable exclusively online
• Fixed price based on the season
• Another departure on the same day of travel is possible if space is available

You can take the originally booked departure. Alternatively, you may choose a different departure on the same route on Friday or Sunday, provided there is still sufficient space available on the desired Ferry. You are only guaranteed a seat on the originally booked departure.

Flexibly switch to a different run

The Weekend Ticket offers you more flexibility than a ticket that is strictly tied to a specific departure. If you want to travel earlier or later on the booked travel day, you can take a different Ferry without having to change your travel dates.

In this case, availability depends on the capacity on hand. Therefore, especially on weekends when demand is high, it’s a good idea to be at the port by your scheduled departure time.

You can reschedule an unused weekend ticket to another weekend for a fee.

Which routes does this offer apply to?

The Weekend Ticket is available on both Scandlines routes between Germany and Denmark:

• Puttgarden–Rødby
• Rostock–Gedser

This offer is ideal, for example, for a weekend getaway to Lolland, Falster, Møn, or Copenhagen. The ticket can also be used for a short stay in northern Germany, provided the booking is made in Danish or Swedish kronor and the trip begins in Denmark.

The booking currency determines the direction of travel

The direction of travel for the first crossing depends on the currency used at the time of booking:

• For bookings made in euros, the outbound voyage must begin at a German port.
• If you book in Danish or Swedish kroner, your outbound trip must begin at a Danish port.

If you book in euros, you’ll travel from Puttgarden to Rødby or from Rostock to Gedser on Friday. The return trip to Germany is on Sunday.
