The Viking Line shipping company
The Finnish shipping company was founded in 1966. This year, three shipping companies merged to form the trading company Viking Line. Today, seven Ferries link the Finnish mainland with Sweden, the Åland Islands and Estonia. More than six million passengers are carried annually, and the company’s head office is in Mariehamn.
Satisfied guests as a declared goal
There are several restaurants, bars and cafés to choose from on board. Together they provide a wide range of food, snacks and drinks. You can opt for the varied Viking buffet or give preference to a cozy à la carte menu. The company attaches particular importance to fresh and regional ingredients, and various themed weeks round off the culinary offerings on board. Please note that each of the seven ships offers an individual range of restaurants and entertainment.
After a good meal, a wide range of products is waiting to be discovered in the tax-free stores. Whether perfume, cosmetics, clothing or toys – here you have the opportunity to shop at low prices. In addition, a colourful entertainment programme will provide entertainment. The company is proud to be able to present up to 200 artists to its guests every year. Renowned artists, musicians, acrobats and magicians will make your crossing an unforgettable experience. Younger guests are also kept entertained in well-equipped playrooms with age-appropriate activities and a varied program.
There is a wide range of cabin categories to choose from on all of the company’s Ferries ships. From inside and outside cabins to luxury cabins and comfortable suites, the shipping company offers the right accommodation for everyone. Disabled-friendly cabins make traveling easier for people with disabilities.
