The shipping company Blue Star Ferries
The Greek shipping company Blue Star Ferries was initially founded under the name Strintzis-Lines. When the heirs withdrew from the family business, it was taken over by Superfast Ferries ries and given the new name Blue Star Ferries. The fleet has been modernized and now offers routes between mainland Greece and the islands. Its registered office and home port is Piraeus.
Travel in a pleasant atmosphere with Blue Star Ferries
The twelve Ferries have different equipment features. For example, the Blue Star 1 offers space for up to 1,890 passengers traveling comfortably in aircraft seats or 192 cabins. For people with reduced mobility, an elevator and cabins equipped for the disabled mean relaxed and carefree travel. The gastronomic offer includes an à la carte restaurant, a self-service restaurant, a café and bars. A boutique and a gift store provide shopping pleasure. Pets are welcome on board, and appropriate crates and pet cabins are available. Major Blue Star Ferries ferry routes
The fleet’s Ferries connects the ports of Piraeus, Rafina and Thessaloniki with Iraklio and Chania on Crete. In addition, the Cyclades, the Dodecanese and other islands in the Aegean Sea are served. Classic routes are those to Kos, Santorini and Rhodes or those to Ios, Naxos and Mykonos.
