Holiday in Malta

Eight months of summer, beautiful beaches, crystal clear waters and Mediterranean delicacies… As if that wasn’t enough, Malta impresses with unspoiled landscapes, grandiose architecture, Maltese lifestyle and hospitality.

TOP excursion destinations in Malta

Malta’s capital Valetta was founded in the 16th century and knows how to impress its visitors with imposing city walls, magnificent palaces and baroque churches. The entire city has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1980. If you go on a discovery tour here on foot, you will soon find out why.

The term “magnificent” fits St. John’s Co-Cathedral perfectly. It dates back to the 16th century and shapes the image of the city like no other building. Its baroque interior leaves visitors in awe. Special art treasure: a painting signed by Caravaggio, dating from 1608 and showing the beheading of John the Baptist.

Even the journey to Mdina is breathtakingly beautiful.
The medieval city impresses with its city walls, moat, palaces, churches and small alleyways. Strolling through the old town, you will be delighted by the flower-filled façades and colourful doors. Holidays can’t get any better than this!

The citadel of Victoria is reminiscent of a fortress. It was built 1,500 years before the birth of Christ and offers beautiful views over the island of Gozo.

In the south of Malta you will find the temples of Mnajdra and Hagar Qim. They are thousands of years old and still puzzle researchers to this day with their stones weighing tons.
On the island of Gozo, the Wied Il-Għasri Valley is home to a 750-metre-long sea gorge that is ideal for swimming.

Divers will find a large underwater cave here, it is called Cathedral Cave and features a large air-filled cavity with a fascinating play of colors.

On Malta, bathing opportunities in azure blue and turquoise await you: enjoy a refreshing dip in St. Peter’s Pool or in the Blue Lagoon on Comino.
The island’s caves and reefs invite you to explore them by boat.
Pure nature also awaits you on Gozo with Blue Hole !
