Travel information
Arrival by car
- From the west (e.g. Salzburg): Ferries on the A1 and change to the A23 in Vienna. Follow the signs to the center and then to Franz-Josefs-Kai.
 - From the east (e.g. Budapest): Take the A4 and change to the A23 in Vienna. Then drive towards the city center to Franz-Josefs-Kai.
 - From the south (e.g. Graz): Ferries on the A2 and change to the A23 in Vienna. Follow the signs to the center and then to Franz-Josefs-Kai.
 - From the north (e.g. Prague): Take the A22 to Vienna, then follow the signs to the city center and Franz-Josefs-Kai.
 
Arrival by bus & train
Vienna is well connected to the international rail network. From Vienna Central Station, take the subway or streetcars to Schwedenplatz, which is in the immediate vicinity of the boat station.
Arrival by plane
- Vienna Airport (VIE): From Vienna Airport, take the CAT (City Airport Train) or the S-Bahn (S7) to Wien Mitte/Landstraße and change there to the U4 subway line, which will take you directly to Schwedenplatz.
