- From the north (e.g. Oulu): Ferries on the highway E8 direction Vaasa. Follow the signs to the harbor.
- From the south (e.g. Turku): Take the E8 highway towards Vaasa and then the E12 in Vaasa, which will take you directly to the ferry terminal.
- From the east (e.g. Seinäjoki): Ferry along highway 18 and then change to the E12 towards Vaasa. Follow the signs to the harbor.
