Port Tallinn
As the capital of Estonia, Tallinn was also the European Capital of Culture in 2011. The medieval old town is surrounded by a city wall and divided into the upper and lower town. The upper town stands on the limestone cathedral hill. Here you will find the ruins of Tallinn Castle, built by Danes in the 13th century was built. In the immediate vicinity are a castle, Tallinn Cathedral and a Russian Orthodox cathedral called Alexander Nevsky. The town hall square in the lower town shows magnificent houses of the 13. and Fourteenth century.

Arrival by car
- From the south (Via E67): Ferry north on the E67 (Via Baltica) to Tallinn. In Tallinn, follow the signs to the ferry port.
- From the east (via E20): Take the E20 westbound to Tallinn. In Tallinn, follow the signs to the ferry port.
Arrival by bus & train
Tallinn is well connected to the Estonian bus and rail network. It is only a short walk from the main train station or the central bus stations to the ferry port. Public transportation such as buses and streetcars offer regular connections.
Arrival by plane
- Lennart Meri Tallinn Airport (TLL): There are good bus and cab connections from Tallinn Airport to the ferry port. The journey takes about 15 to 20 minutes.
