Arrival by car
- From Tirana: Ferry south on the SH4. Change to the SH72 and SH76 and later to the SH8 towards Saranda. In Saranda, follow the signs to the ferry port.
- From Gjirokastër: Take the SH4 and then the SH78 towards Saranda. Once in Saranda, follow the signs to the ferry port.
- From Korça: Ferry along the SH75 and SH3 towards Tepelenë. Change there to the SH4 and continue to Saranda. Follow the signs to the ferry port.

There are regular bus connections to Saranda from various cities in Albania, including Tirana, Gjirokastër and Korça. The central bus station in Saranda is located near the ferry port.
