Port Saint Petersburg
St. Petersburg was built about 300 years ago on former swamp land. Today, the city is the world’s northernmost city with over a million inhabitants. Its magnificent city centre is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You see here about 2300 castles, palaces and magnificent buildings. The historic district is surrounded by the Peter and Paul Fortress. You should definitely take a look at St. Isaac’s Cathedral, built at the beginning of the 18th century, not far from the extensive Hermitage. The harbour area of St. Petersburg is huge. One of the harbour basins has a 2.1 km long quay wall for the cruise ships. It has a direct connection to public transport.

How to get to the ferry port of St. Petersburg in Russia by car:
- From the south: Follow the M11 highway north to St. Petersburg. Leave the highway at the exit in the direction of the city center. Then follow the signs to the harbor.
- From the west: Drive east on the A-180/E20 highway to St. Petersburg. Follow the signs to the harbor when you reach the city.
- From the north: Take the A-121 or the A-181 and drive south towards St. Petersburg. Follow the signs to the harbor when you reach the city.
- From the east: Follow the P-21/E105 highway west to St. Petersburg. Then follow the signs to the harbor.
Arrival by bus & train
The ferry port of St. Petersburg is well connected to the public transport network. There are various bus lines and the metro station “Primorskaya” near the harbor. Check the timetable for exact departure times.
Arrival by plane
Pulkovo Airport (LED) is the international airport of St. Petersburg. From the airport, you can take a cab or the Aeroexpress train to the city center. From there it is only a few kilometers to the ferry port.
