Travel information
By car on Elba
As Elba is a small island, there are no highways. To get to the Portoferraio ferry port, use the island’s main roads. From the west side of the island, for example from Marciana Marina, follow the SP25 road and then the SP24 to Portoferraio. From the south, from places like Marina di Campo, the SP30 and SP26 roads lead towards Portoferraio.
By bus
On Elba, buses connect the various towns on the island with Portoferraio. Check the local bus timetable for exact departure times and routes to get to the ferry port.
