Getting to Patmos by car

As Patmos is a small island, there are no highways. The island can be explored by car. The main roads connect the various towns on the island. From the center of the island, Chora, take the main road east to the ferry port in Skala.

Arrival by bus

There is a local bus service on Patmos that connects different parts of the island. You can use the bus to get to the ferry port in Skala. The current bus timetables are available in the village.

Additional information

Patmos does not have its own airport. The nearest airport is on the island of Kos or Samos. From there you can take a Ferry to Patmos. The island is easy to explore on foot or by rental bike.
