Travel by car to the DFDS ferry terminal in Copenhagen
- From the south (via E6): Ferries on the E6 in the direction of Oslo. Follow the signs to the city center and then to the DFDS ferry terminal Vippetangen.
- From the west (via E18): Ferry towards Oslo on the E18. In Oslo, change to Ring 1 and follow the signs to the DFDS ferry terminal at Vippetangen.
- From the east (via E6): Ferry on the E6 towards Oslo. In Oslo, change to the Ring 3, then to the E18/Ring 1 towards the DFDS ferry terminal at Vippetangen.
- From the north (via E6): Ferry south on the E6 to Oslo. In Oslo, follow the signs to the city center and then to the DFDS ferry terminal Vippetangen.
Travel by car to the Color Line ferry terminal to Kiel
- From the north (via E6): Ferry south on the E6 towards Oslo. In Oslo, follow the signs to the city center and then to Filipstadveien.
- From the south (via E18): Ferry north on the E18 towards Oslo. When you reach Oslo, follow the signs to the city center and then to Filipstadveien.
- From the east (via E6): Ferries west on the E6 towards Oslo. In Oslo, follow the signs to the city center and then to Filipstadveien.
Arrival by bus & train
- Oslo has an excellent public transportation system. Take the train or bus to Oslo Central Station (Oslo Sentralstasjon).
- From Oslo Sentralstasjon it is only a few minutes on foot or by bus to Vippetangen. You can use various bus and streetcar connections (lines 31 & 81 and lines 12 & 13) to the Color Line terminal.
Arrival by plane
- Oslo-Gardermoen Airport (OSL): Take the Airport Express Train (Flytoget) or regional trains to Oslo Central Station. From there you can walk or take the bus to the DFDS terminal.

When you arrive at the Color Line terminal, you should plan to take a bus or cab to get to the city center.
