The Naha ferry port can be reached by car from various parts of Okinawa:
- From the north (e.g. Nago): Ferry south on the E58 to Naha. Then follow the signs to the ferry port.
- From the south (e.g. Itoman): Ferry north on national highway 331 until you reach Naha. Follow the signs to the ferry port.
- From the northeast (e.g. Ginowan): Ferry southwest on the E58 until you reach Naha. Then follow the signs to the ferry port.
Arrival by bus & train
The Naha ferry port is well connected to Okinawa’s bus and rail network. There are regular bus services as well as the Okinawa Urban Transit monorail, which connects Naha with other parts of the island. The nearest monorail station is Asahibashi.
Arrival by plane
Naha Airport is the nearest airport. From the airport, you can take a cab or the Okinawa Urban Transit monorail to Asahibashi station. From there it is only a short walk to the ferry port.
