- From the north (via the E45): Drive south on the E45, change to the A11 towards Ribe, and then follow route 175 to Rømø. The ferry port in Havneby is well signposted and is located directly at the end of Route 175.
- From the south (Germany via the B5): Drive north on the B5, cross the border into Denmark, and follow Route 175 directly to Rømø.
