Port Amsterdam (Ijmuiden)
Amsterdam is characterized by narrow house facades, picturesque canals, art and culture. The charm of the Dutch capital can be experienced up close on foot or by bike. The lively Dam Square is the center of Amsterdam, and visitors can also find the Royal Palace here. Art lovers can enjoy great art in the Van Gogh Museum and works by Rembrandt hang in the Rijksmuseum – including “The Night Watch.” More recent history can be experienced at the Anne Frank House on the Prinsengracht canal. A stroll through Amsterdam’s famous red light district promises a very special atmosphere with many new impressions and “insights”. If you want to experience the city and port from above, you can do so from the viewing platform of the A’DAM Lookout at a height of 100 meters, swinging over the edge of the building if you wish.
