The Smile membership card allows you to collect bonus points as part of the Smile program. Points can be purchased online, in the ticket offices, on board the Scandlines-Ferries and in the BorderShops. Members also benefit from a wide range of advantages and offers.
The Smile program offers two different levels of membership. The basic Smile level can be upgraded to Smile+ for a period of 12 months by spending 5,000 points. With Smile+, members receive double points on their purchases on board and in the BorderShops.

Where can I register for Scandlines Smile?
There are four different options for registration. It can be done online at smile.scandlines.com/en, at a Smile terminal on board the Ferries or in one of the BorderShops in Rostock or Puttgarden. Registration is also possible via the Scandlines app. Simply download it to Google Play or the App Store and register. Registration is also possible directly in the booking mask
Where can I log in to Scandlines Smile?
Members can find an overview of the points they have already collected under the menu item “My page” at smile.scandlines.com/en. You can also register directly at the time of booking. After logging in, you will immediately see how many points you already have and in the booking history you can see how many Smile points are still to be added for the current booking.
Are there any special offers for Scandlines Smile members?
In addition to earning points, members can expect a number of other benefits and offers. They can be viewed on a daily basis at smile.scandlines.com/en.
As a member, do I get a discount on ferry tickets, cabins, meals in the restaurant or in the onboard store?
Holders of a Smile membership card benefit from so-called Smile offers on board the Ferries and in the BorderShops in Rostock and Puttgarden.
Do I get a Scandlines Smile ID card or a membership card?
The membership card is available either as a credit card format card or as a digital card for mobile phones.
What is a Scandlines Smile points ticket and how can I book it?
Points collected can be used to purchase a Smile Points ticket. It costs 25,000 points and is the equivalent of DKK 549. Unlike all other Scandlines tickets, the points ticket is only available online and is only offered to members from a points balance of 25,000. There is a fee of DKK 25 for the purchase.
How can I redeem my Scandlines Smile points?
Collected points can be used as an upgrade for a Smile+ membership or to pay for ticket purchases, when shopping on board Ferries or in the BorderShops.
Points that are not used within 36 months from the collection date will expire. Each use of the Smile card automatically extends the validity of points already collected by 24 months.
What else is there to consider?
Each point collected corresponds to a value of 0.01 Danish kroner (DKK).
Collecting points is based on the following principle: if you make a purchase on board the Scandlines fleet or in the BorderShop, you earn up to 1 point per DKK 1. When purchasing an Economy or Day ticket, members receive 3 points per DKK 1. When purchasing an Economy Extra ticket, members are rewarded with 7 points per DKK 1, and when purchasing a Flex ticket, they are rewarded with 10 points per DKK 1.
Members collect points when shopping by showing their Smile card. For online purchases, points are credited automatically after a purchase.
